In the evening, join your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner at the hotel's restaurant, where your tour guide will brief you about the exciting journey ahead.
Two Souls Start your day with a hearty breakfast before diving into the fascinating contrasts of Old and New Delhi. We'll begin in Old Delhi, where you'll hop aboard a cycle rickshaw for a thrilling ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk, Delhi's oldest market. Your guide will share stories about the spice markets and historic havelis (mansions). After lunch at a local restaurant, explore New Delhi's wide boulevards, visiting the impressive Humayun's Tomb and driving past the Presidential Palace. End your day with a peaceful visit to the Qutub Minar complex.
Wake up early for your journey to Agra. After a comfortable 3-hour drive, check into your hotel and freshen up. In the afternoon, visit the impressive Agra Fort, where your guide will bring history to life with tales of Mughal emperors and court intrigue. As evening approaches, head to Mehtab Bagh gardens for your first glimpse of the Taj Mahal during sunset. Enjoy dinner at your hotel's rooftop restaurant with views of the illuminated Taj Mahal in the distance.
Rise before dawn for the highlight of your trip - watching the sunrise at the Taj Mahal. Your guide will show you the best photo spots and share the fascinating love story behind this marvel. After breakfast, drive to Ranthambore, stopping at the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri. Learn about Emperor Akbar's grand vision for this red sandstone city. Arrive at your jungle lodge in time for dinner and a briefing about tomorrow's tiger safari.
Start your day with an early morning game drive into Ranthambore National Park. Look out for tigers, leopards, sloth bears and various deer species as your naturalist guide explains the park's ecosystem. Return to the lodge for breakfast and some relaxation time. In the afternoon, head out for another game drive, taking a different route to maximize your chances of spotting the elusive Bengal tiger. End your day with dinner under the stars.
After breakfast, make your way to Jaipur, the 'Pink City' of Rajasthan. On arrival, check into your heritage hotel and take some time to settle in. In the afternoon, join your guide for a walking tour through the old city bazaars. Watch local craftsmen at work, learn about traditional block printing, and perhaps try your hand at bargaining for souvenirs. In the evening, visit a local family for a cooking demonstration and dinner, learning about Rajasthani cuisine and culture.
Start your day with an exciting elephant ride up to the magnificent Amber Fort (or choose to go by jeep if you prefer). Explore the fort's elaborate mirror work, paintings and architectural marvels. After lunch, visit the City Palace, where parts of the palace are still home to Jaipur's royal family. Next, discover the astronomical secrets of Jantar Mantar observatory, and stop for photos at the famous Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). End your day with a farewell dinner at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the illuminated city.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel. Depending on your flight time, take a morning yoga class or relax by the pool. Transfer to Jaipur airport for your flight to Delhi, connecting with your international flight back to the UK. You'll leave with wonderful memories and photos of your Indian adventure.
