Rise and shine, travellers! We're kicking off our adventure in the holy city of Amritsar. After you've settled into your comfy hotel, we'll dive right into the heart of Punjab's cultural capital. First stop: the awe-inspiring Golden Temple. This gleaming wonder is the holiest site for Sikhs worldwide. We'll take a leisurely stroll around the sacred pool, soak in the peaceful atmosphere, and maybe even help out in the massive community kitchen that feeds thousands daily. It's a great way to experience the famous Sikh hospitality firsthand! Next up, we'll visit the sobering Jallianwala Bagh memorial. Your guide will share the poignant history of this site, helping you understand its significance in India's struggle for independence. To round off our historical tour, we'll pop into the Partition Museum. Here, you'll get a moving insight into the largest migration in human history through personal stories and artefacts. As the sun sets, get ready for some goosebump-inducing patriotism at the Wagah Border ceremony. Watch as Indian and Pakistani guards strut their stuff in an elaborate border-closing ritual. It's quite a spectacle! We'll cap off our Amritsar adventure with a feast for your taste buds. We'll wander through bustling local markets, sampling delicious Punjabi street food. Fancy some butter chicken or melt-in-your-mouth kulcha? This is your chance!

Pack your bags, we're heading to the hills! After a scenic 4-5 hour drive, we'll arrive in Dharamshala, home to the Tibetan government-in-exile and the Dalai Lama himself. Our first stop will be the Dalai Lama Temple Complex. Take in the colourful prayer flags, spin some prayer wheels, and if we're lucky, we might even catch a glimpse of His Holiness! Next, we'll take a refreshing walk to Bhagsu Waterfall. It's a great spot for a quick dip if you're feeling brave! We'll also visit the nearby Bhagsu Nag Temple, an ancient shrine with a lovely mountain backdrop. For our more adventurous travellers, we've got a treat in store - a day trek to Triund! This moderately challenging hike rewards you with breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar range. Don't worry if you're not up for the full trek, there are plenty of other activities in town, from yoga classes to Tibetan cooking workshops.

Time to explore another hill station gem! After a 4-hour drive, we'll reach Dalhousie, a charming town that still echoes its colonial past. We'll start with a visit to St. John's Church, a beautiful example of British architecture nestled in the hills. Then, we'll head to Subhash Baoli, a peaceful spot named after freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose. As evening falls, we'll take a leisurely stroll along The Mall and Gandhi Chowk. These lively areas are perfect for picking up some souvenirs and trying out local cafes. Don't miss the chance to sample some Himachali dishes!

Get your cameras ready! Today we're off to Khajjiar, often called the "Mini Switzerland of India". This stunning meadow, surrounded by pine forests and snow-capped peaks, is a feast for the eyes. We'll have time for a picnic lunch and some fun activities like zorbing or horse riding. After soaking in the beauty of Khajjiar, we'll begin our journey back to Amritsar. It's a long drive (7-8 hours), but we'll make sure to have plenty of comfort stops along the way. Use this time to relax, chat with your fellow travellers, or simply enjoy the changing landscape.

Our adventure is coming to an end, but we've still got time for some last-minute fun! We'll start the day with some shopping at Hall Bazaar. Whether you're after traditional Punjabi jutis (shoes), colourful phulkari embroidery, or some tasty pappad wadian to take home, you'll find it all here.A Before we say goodbye, we'll squeeze in a visit to the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum. Here, you'll learn about the 'Lion of Punjab' and see some fascinating artefacts from his reign. Finally, it's time to head to the airport. As you fly home, your head will be spinning with memories of glittering temples, misty mountains, and warm Punjabi smiles!
