Good morning, traveller! Today's the day your Amritsar adventure begins. Once you land, we'll whisk you away to your comfy hotel. After you've freshened up, it's time for the main event – the stunning Golden Temple! We'll head there in the afternoon when the sun makes the golden dome sparkle like a jewel. As we walk in, you'll feel a sense of peace wash over you. Take a stroll around the Amrit Sarovar, the holy tank surrounding the temple. It's a great spot for a bit of quiet reflection. Fancy a bit of history? We'll pop into the Sikh Museum right in the complex. It's packed with paintings and artefacts that tell the story of Sikhism. Dead interesting, if you ask me! As evening rolls in, get ready for something truly special – the Palki Sahib ceremony. It's when the holy book, the Guru Granth Sahib, is carried in a golden palanquin to its night-time resting place. The atmosphere is electric! Feeling peckish after all that? We'll round off the day with a proper Punjabi feast at Bharawan Da Dhaba. Their dal makhani is to die for!

Rise and shine, early bird! We're off to the Golden Temple again, but this time for the soul-stirring morning prayers. There's something magical about hearing the hymns as the sun comes up. After breakfast, we'll visit Durgiana Temple. It's a bit like a mini Golden Temple, dedicated to the goddess Durga. The intricate carvings are a real treat for the eyes. Next up, we're travelling back in time at Ram Bagh Gardens. This used to be the summer pad of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the 'Lion of Punjab'. The old summer palace is still there – you can almost imagine the royal parties they must have had! In the afternoon, we're in for a quirky treat – the Mata Lal Devi Temple. It's like no temple you've ever seen before, with winding tunnels and mirrors galore. It's a bit of an adventure playground for grown-ups! We'll cap off the day back at the Golden Temple for the evening Waheguru Simran. It's a beautiful meditation session that'll leave you feeling peaceful and centred.

Our last day together, but still plenty to see! After breakfast, we're hitting the road for a quick 45-minute drive to Tarn Taran Sahib Gurudwara. This place is a real hidden gem, with the largest sarovar (holy tank) of all Sikh temples. Back in Amritsar, we'll make a stop at Khalsa College. Even if you're not into education, the building itself is a stunner – proper Mughal-style architecture that'll have you reaching for your camera. Before we say goodbye, we'll pop back to the Golden Temple for one last darshan (viewing of the deity). It's a chance to soak in the atmosphere one more time and reflect on your journey. And just like that, it's time to head to the airport. As you fly home, you'll take with you not just memories, but a piece of Amritsar's spiritual heart. Safe travels, my friend!
