Morning: Touch down in Amritsar - welcome to Punjab! We'll pick you up from the airport and whisk you off to your hotel. Take some time to freshen up and relax after your journey. Afternoon: Meet your guide in the hotel lobby for a quick briefing about your adventure. We'll go over the plan for the next few days and answer any questions you might have. Evening: Time for the main event - our Old City food walk! We'll stroll through the winding lanes, soaking up the sights and smells. First stop: Kulcha Land. Ever tried Amritsari Kulcha? It's a local bread that's to die for! Next, we'll cool off with a creamy lassi at Ahuja Milk Bhandar. It's proper refreshing, I tell you. To round things off, we'll head to Makhan Fish for some lip-smacking fish fry. Back to the hotel with full bellies and happy hearts.
Morning: Rise and shine! We're off to the Golden Temple bright and early. Marvel at the shimmering temple as the sun comes up - it's a sight you won't forget. We'll take a tour around the complex and learn about its history and significance. Fancy lending a hand? We'll join the volunteers in the kitchen to help prepare the langar (free community meal). Time for lunch - we'll sit down with locals and visitors alike for the langar meal. Afternoon: Back to the hotel for a quick rest. Ready to become a Punjabi chef? We're off to our cooking class! Learn to make classics like butter chicken, dal makhani, and paratha. Best part? We get to eat what we cook! Evening: Time for some history at Gobindgarh Fort. Watch the sun set over Amritsar from the fort's ramparts. Back to the hotel for a well-earned rest.
Morning: Today, we're swapping city life for country air! We'll drive out to a nearby village for a taste of rural Punjab. Roll up your sleeves - we're trying our hand at some farming activities. Ever milked a cow? Well, today's your lucky day! Afternoon: Lunchtime! We'll feast on traditional Punjabi dishes in a village home. After lunch, let's learn about Punjabi folk music and dance. Fancy a twirl? Give the bhangra dance a go - it's great fun! Evening: Back to Amritsar, but the day's not over yet! We're going shopping for some local treasures. Keep an eye out for colourful phulkari embroidery and comfy juttis (traditional shoes). Back to the hotel to rest those dancing feet.
Morning: Early start today - we're off to the Attari-Wagah border. Watch the famous border ceremony - it's quite the show! Back to Amritsar for some last-minute shopping at Hall Bazaar. Pick up some souvenirs or treats to take home. Afternoon: Time for our farewell lunch at Bharawan Da Dhaba. Let's raise a glass (of lassi!) to new friends and fantastic memories. Evening: Sadly, it's time to say goodbye. We'll drop you off at the airport for your flight home. Safe travels, and come back soon!
