Wildlife and Culture of Central India

Two full days exploring Pench with morning and afternoon jeep safaris. The park's teak forests and meadows support a healthy population of tigers, leopards, and wild dogs. Two days of wildlife viewing in Tadoba, known for its high tiger density and excellent sighting opportunities. The park's open terrain makes it easier to spot wildlife. Morning and afternoon safaris in different zones give you the best chances of seeing tigers, sloth bears, and gaur (Indian bison). Visit the local tribal market between safaris to experience rural Indian life.

Final morning safari in Tadoba. After lunch, drive to Nagpur (3 hours). Evening visit to the unique Nagpur Zero Mile Stone, marking the geographical centre of colonial India. Farewell dinner featuring local Maharashtrian specialities.
