Adventure in the Thar (7 Days)

After breakfast, it's time to explore the mighty Jaisalmer Fort. This isn't just any old fort - people still live and work here! We'll wander through narrow lanes, popping into intricately carved Jain temples. Next up is the Raj Mahal (Royal Palace). Imagine yourself as a maharaja as we explore the royal rooms. In the fort museums, you'll see ancient weapons, colourful turbans, and learn about desert life. Evening brings a treat for your taste buds! We'll go on a food walk in the old city. Try crispy kachori, spicy mirchi vada, and sweet malpua. Yum!

Today we're off to the Desert National Park. It might look empty at first, but keep your eyes peeled! We'll go on a wildlife safari to spot desert creatures. The star of the show is the Great Indian Bustard, a huge bird that's very rare. We'll also visit fossil parks. Did you know this desert was once under the sea? You might find ancient seashells! Our guide will teach you about the tough plants and animals that survive in this harsh environment. It's amazing how they adapt!

Pack your bags for a two-day camel safari! Don't worry if you've never ridden a camel before - our expert guides will help you. We'll plod through the desert, watching the landscape change. Start your day with an adrenaline rush! We're going paramotoring. Soar high above Jaisalmer for a bird's eye view of the golden city. In the afternoon, hold on tight as we go dune bashing in jeeps at Sam Sand Dunes. It's like a roller coaster made of sand! Want more excitement? Try sandboarding down the dunes. It's like snowboarding, but warmer! We'll end the day watching the sunset from Vyas Chhatri, a beautiful group of cenotaphs. The changing colours of the stone in the setting sun are magical.

On your last morning, we'll visit the Jaisalmer War Museum. Learn about the area's important role in India's wars. Then it's time for some last-minute shopping! Hunt for souvenirs at Manak Chowk and Sadar Bazaar. Colourful textiles, silver jewellery, or a Rajasthani puppet perhaps? Finally, we'll drop you off at Jaisalmer Airport. As we say goodbye, you'll be taking home a suitcase full of sandy, sunny memories!
