Welcome to Kashmir You'll arrive in Srinagar today. Our friendly guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your home for the night – a luxury houseboat on Dal Lake. These houseboats are like floating palaces, with beautiful woodwork and comfy rooms. Spend the evening relaxing on the deck, watching the sun set over the lake. It's the perfect way to shake off any travel tiredness.

Srinagar Sights and Sounds After a yummy breakfast on the houseboat, we're off to explore Srinagar. First stop: the famous Mughal Gardens. These gardens are absolutely gorgeous, with fountains, flowers, and great views. Your guide will tell you all about their history. In the afternoon, we'll visit some local artisan workshops. You'll see skilled craftspeople making things like papier-mâché boxes and intricate carpets. It's really impressive! Feel free to buy a souvenir if you like – just remember to bargain, it's part of the fun!

Hello, Leh! Time to head to Leh! After a short flight, you'll be in the heart of Ladakh. Leh is quite high up, so we'll take it easy today to help you get used to the altitude. We'll do some gentle sightseeing around town, checking out the local markets and maybe stopping for a cup of sweet Ladakhi tea. Remember to drink lots of water and take it slow – your body will thank you tomorrow!

Leh's Greatest Hits Today we're exploring the best of Leh! We'll start at the Shanti Stupa, a beautiful white dome with amazing views over the city. Next up is Leh Palace, an old royal residence that looks a bit like a mini Potala Palace. In the afternoon, we'll visit Namgyal Tsemo Monastery. It's a bit of a climb, but the views are worth it! You'll see colourful prayer flags fluttering in the wind and might even hear monks chanting. It's a really peaceful place.

Adventure to Nubra Valley Get ready for a real adventure today! We're driving to Nubra Valley, crossing the famous Khardung La pass. At over 5,300 metres, it's one of the highest drivable passes in the world. The views are out of this world – snowy peaks as far as you can see! In Nubra Valley, you'll feel like you're on another planet. We'll visit sand dunes (yes, in the mountains!) and you can even take a short ride on a Bactrian camel if you like. These two-humped camels are really gentle and it's a fun experience.

Back to Srinagar We'll fly back to Srinagar today. In the evening, we've got a special treat – a farewell dinner cruise on Dal Lake. You'll enjoy delicious Kashmiri food while floating past twinkling lights on the shore. It's a magical way to say goodbye to this beautiful place.

Homeward Bound Time to head home! We'll get you to the airport for your flights back to the UK via Delhi. As you soar over the mountains, think back on all the amazing things you've seen and done. Kashmir and Ladakh will stay in your heart forever!
